Martin Juvosky
Bio
I am new to Oakland, having moved here from Cambridge, Mass., in 2021. I've been involved with photography since 1960, first with silver prints, now with digital. From 1981 through 1982, I edited VIEWS, a journal of photographic history and criticism, for the New England Photographic Resource Center in Boston. Besides exhibiting regularly, I showed my photographs every year in Cambridge Open Studios. My primary interest is street photography, and my influences are Walker Evans, Wright Morris, Stephen Shore, William Klein, Dorothea Lange, and the Farm Security Administration crew of photographers."
