Bio
Amanda Bensel is an international development professional and a multimedia artist, documentary photographer, filmmaker and block printer whose work supports leadership development, climate action, women’s rights and social enterprise, especially across Asia. Her recent multimedia work explores her matriarchal lineage and relationship to plants through photographs, photographic collage and cyanotype prints. She is currently working on a micro-documentary showcasing one woman’s drive to develop an effective waste management system in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Her short film, Shanta, will be screened June 9th.
